The Battle is Real

There are times in life we feel so broken and powerless we feel like giving up. However, we must never forget who we are created to become; a Warrior on God’s Behalf in sickness and in health. If the enemy can convince us that we are so damaged, so sick, so forgotten, so worthless…..then the enemy wins just by what we allow our minds to cling to. But, if we spend time in God’s Word, in Prayer, in seeking guidance from the Holy Spirit, in fellowship and community with other believers then, right there in the midst of our lowest point in life and darkest most evil night, we begin to Rise. It’s sometimes a longer process than we like, but we will Rise up in His Holy name, remember who we are, and take aim at the places in our lives the enemy is trying to destroy. It may be your peace, your sanity, your health, your losses, your weaknesses…. Any one of these and more satan will use against you to lie, be deceitful, destroy, and even kill your self esteem and will to live all while smiling sweetly and whispering clever words of fear to ultimately destroy you.

Put a stop to it right now, today. Sit up and listen to the Holy Spirit. Stand up and watch the enemy flee as you utter the name of Jesus. This is your time to Rise up from the ashes!

“…to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
    the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
    the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3
