It was a trip of wonders, blessings, and sunsets amid the rush of college tours. Change is coming and the reality sunk into to my soul like a weight. This was an the kind that of adventure that sets the trajectory of life. Emotions were high in wide eyed wonder and walking was hard for this old girl.
Yet, God was there. Holy presence surrounded us like a globe of assurance as He reminded me I could do hard things in life. His sustaining grace never leaves us. That is a Holy promise.
The sunset across the water the night before the tour was a perfect reminder of how God speaks to us through His creation. I always think of Jesus when I see beautiful sunsets. It is confirmation of His peace, the calm before the darkness, the settling after a long day, and that the presence of God is always near in our hearts to strengthen us beyond what we are able to do ourselves.
I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
Let Jesus, the Son, set in your heart. You can do hard things, too. Holy is waiting for you.
