Stillness

What does be still m an to you? I have finally developed the habit of checking in with God every time I have a moment of stillness. It has stopped the overwhelming overthinking of what if, fear, mind overload with things to do, and endless questions of how to fix whatever.

The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent. Exodus 14:14

To be still is not to be idol. In our moments of stillness is the perfect time to deepen our personal relationship with Jesus. Take Holy your thoughts, questions, concerns, and joys. Then, in the silence of your spirit Holy Spirit reciprocates and peace prevails, resting in His arms is palpable, and true soul rest takes place.

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3

May you revel in the stillness this Christmas being mindful of the importance of going deep with Jesus. He is our guiding light in a world bent on chaos.
