A sure way to build your soul into a Holy wonder is to start every day of your life with prayer. It is the most important conversation you will have day after day.
Don’t resolve to just wing it everyday this new year. Fluttering about without purpose is futile. Slow the grind, calm the pressure, and set the tone for a Divine day.
Holy Spirit hears the cries of your spirit even when you don’t know what to say, how to say it, or too deeply crushed to put into words the things on your mind.
Dear Heavenly Father, I don’t know what to say, but I know I need help. So, I will sit here with You, Holy Spirit, and just be still in your presence. I will listen and look for your Holy signs, visions, dreams, and seek to be wise in all decisions, choices, relationships, emotions, and in your Holy presence. In Jesus name I pray, Amen
Be determined to ask for direction for God has already determined your day before your eyes even opened. Seize the day with a prayer. Your soul will thank you.
The Spirit helps us in our weakness (of not knowing what to say). For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit (Holy) himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. Romans 8:26
