“Even the Bird in the sky knows her appointed seasons, and the dove, the swift, the thrush observe the time of their migrations” Jeremiah 8:7

By the powers of observation birds know when to migrate, when to come back, where the best berries are, and how to shelter in snow storms. They have developed trust in the truth of nature. They maintain awareness of the goings on around them. Learn from them that your observant awareness defeats deceptions, lies, and enemy warfare. It is then you can live your own life song even amid your struggles.

Where is your attention focused? Are you observant of the real underlying issues in relationships, your health, in the world? Are you always second guessing life situations because you aren’t confident in your flighty decisions, your superficial walk with Jesus, or maintaining hope in the dire circumstances? Time to change that and become fully committed to walking and flying and singing with God.

The Mistle or Wood Thrush makes beautiful, harmonious, and melodious songs. Their songs are not chatter, screeches, caws, or piercing to the ear. Their songs give awareness to the world as a reminder that Holy is all around us. With God in our life we can observe His creation of beauty amid the struggles.

Are you making beautiful songs out of your life? How you live your life daily is a better sermon to those around you than mere words. Even in your dire circumstances there is always hope. Be observant!
