Silence Has Purpose

At some point, we must learn to sit in silence with ourselves to truly get to know who we are at our very core soul level. What do you really believe? Is your faith superficial or strong? Are you more comfortable with noise and distractions than with yourself or God?

It is through silence that the deep bond with God forms. It is through noise and distractions that your purpose is destroyed, delayed, or damaged.

Many never fully embrace the need for a time of silence everyday because it requires silencing the mind from the noise, disappointments, traumas, or hurt feelings from the world in which we live. Deep communion with God is then never realized for the distractions take precedence.

Silence has a purpose. Set aside time each day to spend in silence. Just yourself and God. In the silence lessons are learned. Don’t let the distractions interfere.

With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26
