Revenge feeds the anger. Revenge feeds the hurt. Revenge blocks the healing. Revenge keeps you oppressed as you put all of your energy, effort, heart, actions, words, and soul into doing the wrong thing. Even if you never carry out a word or action of revenge against the perpetrator, if you think of it often enough you will not heal. Stop the revenge feeding frenzy.
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4
Time to nourish your hurt and feed the good within you. Then move on day by day focusing on just that. Accept the you within. Ask Holy Spirit for help healing the hurt. As you heal in Christ you will begin to die to the old as this new way, direction, focus, living takes shape.
