Relentless Love

God tried everything for decades to help humanity know Him. In the carefree comforts of paradise, Eve and Adam failed to grasp the uncertainty of the future of humanity as they whimsically ate the forbidden fruit. Holy chose to speak to Moses through a burning bush. He parted the Red Sea to save His people. He fed them manna and honey from a rock. All the while they complained pining for their life of rich foods and comfortable accommodations as slaves to Pharaoh. God’s love was relentlessly patient.

God’s cloud of glory led the way for the ark of the covenant. He spoke to Daniel in dreams and directly to Job amid his struggles. When Ezekiel became fearful and depressed God told him to go rest and sent ravens to feed him until he recovered. God’s love was relentlessly ordered for their well-being.

When the angel Gabriel appeared to tell Mary that she was with child and would give birth to the Anointed One, we realize that God finally decided to come in the flesh to show us how to live. God’s love for all is relentless.

God never stops seeking, pursuing, running after nor gives up on you. His Holy pattern has proven that. He calls the prodigals home, still heals the sick, breaks the chains anchoring addicts to disease, and never stops loving us even when we fail Him miserably. Let this Christmas be a celebration of God’s Relentless Love for humanity

For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10

God is relentlessly seeking you. Are you earnestly seeking Holy?
