When we plant the seeds of Jesus we must be willing to wait with God in His timing as Holy works on the heart of the receiver. Heart-work is one of the things only God can do. Our role then becomes prayers for changed hearts with the patient endurance of Christ.
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. 1 Corinthians 3:6-8
Jesus never stayed in one place during His ministry. Yes, it was dangerous, but He consulted with His Father as to where to go next to spread truth, heal, cast out demons, and gather the disciples and teach planting seeds of God’s word. Then His job was to keep going in prayer and truth. It was not an easy life. Neither is ours. Plant the seeds anyway and keep moving. Let God work on the hearts after they have heard the word. Keep praying for God to get through and shield them from the enemy in the wait.
