Pay CLOSE Attention

To heal ancient pain, even if generational or new, you must first be willing to acknowledge what you’ve allowed to become buried deep within. No one can do the work for you. You must be the one who first notices the emotions, reactions, what/who rubs you the wrong way, and be willing to ask yourself the hard questions about it.

Those things that bubble up and out of our spirit can either be positive or negative. Your choice is to turn the negative into positives each and every day or you risk wallowing in misery day after day for a long time. It is through redirecting that negative response into a positive one that the pain begins to diminish. You will notice those triggers happening less and less as you heal, NOT because others around you have changed, but because you have, internally. It is a process for many times we must unlearn a few things and embrace the lessons in faith. Have Faith that in time you become automatically aware and healing occurs.

Do the work. Choose Healing of triggering pains hidden deep,  old wounds that have festered, and living day to day in misery. This kind of work only happens Spirit to Spirit.

Ask Holy Spirit to intervene. Ask for help to uncover hidden pain, trauma, abuse, the cause of angry hurt feelings, bitterness, or even selfish attitudes. Your Spirit can be free to be who you are meant to be.

Don’t settle. Stop allowing triggers to rule your life. Begin to love yourself like Christ loves you, deeply, unconditionally,   forgivingly. Only you and Jesus within can repair the damage. Get to work!

Embrace Jehovah Rapha- the God who heals.

“For I am the Lord, who heals you.” Exodus 15:26b. NIV
