Hope. What do you hope for in life?
When we are at peace with God, our trust comes easy. When we wrestle for possessions, material greatness, and worldly importance, our hope gets lost in the shuffle. Trust wanes. We become hardened by life itself.
Are you at peace with God? If not, ask Him why.
We can not overflow with hope if our Holy Spirit within is smothered by trying to keep up with everything that is worldly. But, when we bravely give it all to God in trust, our hope blossoms and flourishes no matter what is going on within this world.
That is the power of the Holy Spirit within. Embrace it in faith and thank Jesus for giving His all just to save us from ourselves.
Let it go. Give hope a chance. Choose eternal life in Jesus.
Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
