The best decision you will ever make is to do the right thing no matter the circumstances, how hard it may be, or when you know you could very well suffer for it. It is the core from which God teaches about obedience and sacrifice through Jesus.
What is “the right thing”? Righteousness! It is choosing to act, say, do, and serve others responsibly with honor, fairness, justice, and respect. Freedom to do so is an opportunity of a lifetime. It leads to peace rather than conflict.
A harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James 3:18
Freedom is not free. Your decision on how to behave, to live, to exist on earth is never just about you. Other lives will be affected by every decision and choice you make. Choose wisely. Live responsibly.
