Disobedience to God leads to destruction and eventual downfall. Is there anything else n your life that God wants you to do that you are fearful of, do not want to, or have misgivings about? Instead of hiding away from God trying to figure out how to do it to suit you, lean into Holy.
Holy does not ask us to do, to go, or to be obedient to something and then leave us stranded to figure it out. Do not panic. Our God is orderly, structured, and will help you get there. His Way may not be easy but it is the right way, good way, planned way, and Holy Spirit guides us every step of the way.
1 Kings 11 speaks of Solomon’s disobedience and downfall. His generations to come reaped the hard consequences of his disobedience. His invincible attitude with God created havoc for his children for generations.
Disobedience is a defiant attitude against the one and only God who sees the bigger picture of our lives. The legacy we leave on earth matters for generations to come. Give it to God. Ask Jesus for help. Pray without ceasing. You are not alone.
