To nurture is to take on the nature and character that God has for each of us. Spiritual development does not happen by unconscious assimilation. Every day, we require nourishment, and part of that daily routine is to nurture our Holy Spirit within. Without that, we are always left wanting for something we can’t quite put our finger on.
Being informed by the worldly news, staying within gated communities, building walls, nor living surrounded by wealth will not save you nor nurture your soul. Only Jesus saves. Seek it now.
Today, get serious about your Holy within. It will help you withstand the ways of the world at a distance. All the while, you are nurturing an intricate mystery revealed only by God. Nurturing means the happiness and peace of God within you will sustain while your world falls apart around you.
