Moral danger runs rampant and has so since the beginning of time. It is not what you might think. In our moral goodness we can become so sheltered by our little world that we overlook the lurking pull of pride, ego, and complacency.
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8
Jesus taught the importance of relationship with Holy first then planting those seeds in the world. Everyday. While we come together in community a few days a week, at most, let that not be all we give God. We must guard against moral failings and that’s impossible without engaging with God everyday.
The world is full of unwanted people who self sabotage in harmful ways. It is true that many don’t want help, are too embedded with Satan to care, and have tried to get it together but the pull of escaping their reality wins every day. Some are sick and tired of the reality they’ve created but see no win in sight. Be the light of Jesus. Either way we are still called by God not to ignore, to remain faithful to Jesus’ teachings, and plant the seeds anyway.
As you go about your day, this year, the future be mindful of the opportunities you get each day to be Jesus’ light in someone else’s world. It is time to Trade being “holier than thou” to become holier with God. Ponder this! No more moral failings for the danger is real.
