Torch Bearer: one who carries the light or flame at the forefront into darkness
Anyone who has experienced a helping hand at the lowest point of their life from a kind soul who made the effort to be there and care will always remember that person. The torch bearer found them and saved their life. It is a powerful memory.
This is the bare bones of Christmas. The light came down to save the children. Thank Jesus, today, for lighting the way as your torch bearer. Thank the one who came to find you in the dark and give you light no matter how long ago it was when it happened. Then You be the torch bearer for someone trying to claw their way out of darkness. Raise your torch. You will find them.
