Mary chose to live her life on earth in the Spirit rather than in the flesh. The Holy Spirit of God still hovers over the earth and imparts gifts of service, mission, wisdom, knowledge, healing, prophecy, purpose… Remember, just as the Holy Spirit imparts, He stays with you through it all until the end teaching, guiding, helping, sustaining, even when it is life long.
Mary’s time was 33 plus years. Her gifts of mission and purpose from before and after Jesus’ birth until His death were spread throughout a lifetime. And, even in Jesus’ death God provided for her. As He hung on the cross He commissioned John to take His mother in and care for her. WHAT A GIFT!
