What are you seeking? Fame, fortune, freedom, or just a comfortable life? It all comes with a price.
The choices are simple. Selfishness leads to a lifestyle of doing what you want without regard for how it affects others thereby creating an attitude centered upon lack of caring. Humbly doing the right thing even when it’s hard and you do not really want to leads to a lifestyle of responsible actions, words, and behaviors that are sustaining for yourself and others.
One leads to a superficial life fraught with disappointment, disaster, death and sin. Jesus paid the price for you with His life so do not linger there. The other leads to wisdom, greater faith in the unseen, a deep understanding of holiness, and life everlasting. God’s Holy Spirit is constantly seeking you to build relationship, teach you peace amid earth’s chaos, and rescue you from a lifetime of disaster.
As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness. Ezekiel 34:12
