A lantern shines in the darkness illuminating the path immediately in front of us. Further ahead nothing can be seen for the darkness envelopes the path with a sea of black. We walk on anyway knowing that little by little we will see enough to get us where we are going even though we don’t see ahead for now. If we stay on the path, pay attention to where our feet land, and don’t let the lantern light go out we trust that we will arrive safely to our destination.
Living by Faith is the same. We don’t have all the answers ahead of time for anything in life. If we meander along in darkness it’s very east to get off path, fall into traps of confusions and chaos, lose our way, feed panic and fear, and life becomes a tremendous struggle day after day.
