Where we focus in life is what we allow into our heart, mind, thoughts, words, movements, and actions. Are you focused on Jesus? Or are you focused on getting ahead, making money, choosing promotion over family, playing tempting games with life, or complaining your way to your purpose?
Romans 12:2 tells “do not conform to the world, but be transformed and renewed by God”. Colossians 3:2 tells us to “set your sights above, not on things of the earth”. His Word lights the way for us in truths. It is up to us to pursue Holy.
Your true purpose on earth begins with focusing on Jesus and becoming the light, First. The rest of life falls into place as we go deeper with understanding the character traits of God. It is then we fully see the importance of gaining insights on living on earth as the light.
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3
In uncertain times, be the light of Christ. In joyous times, be the light in someone’s dark. In hard seasons of life, reach for the Jesus light within.
