No one likes to live in dark turmoil. God came in human form to help us see and know how to live in light. Jesus the babe entered a dark world of hate, unrest, war, and injustices, yet He did it to show humanity a better way to live. He did it for you and me.
And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” Luke 2:10-14
Jesus gives us the Light of Life. It is time to come out of the shadows of shame, trauma, unease, addiction, depression, or whatever darkness you deal with and give it to Jesus. Let Holy lead you out of the darkness and into God’s light. Do it today.
