Life teaches us lots of lessons every day. The most important lesson is seeking God in all that we do and say. What we see in others is also reflected back to a part of us that we may like or dislike. Many times our lack of good or bad decisions stems from judgement against ourselves then we take it out on others. That is not how Jesus teaches us to live.
We are created for a life united. Let us live that way. Let us embrace kind words, not death, actions that build up and does not separate the truth from the lies, and pray for the salvation of the hopeless, the helpless, the highly educated who do not recognize their wayward ways, and live to unite, not shame and tear down. We are not the judge of the universe. Only God is the avenger. Our work on earth is to create unity not violence. Our opinions are not relevant. Our actions are the key to goodness, worth, and Truth.
Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause. Isaiah 1:17
Let us celebrate life and not continue to spin the web of death. Each of us can learn to do good, if we choose unity instead of division. What do you choose? Life or Death?
Today is the day to change the narrative of your words, decisions, way of living, and actions that reflect goodness, mercy, and grace for all, even for yourself.
