We must keep watch on every aspect of our lives to see the signs and wonders God gives us everyday. It is an opportunity to focus on Holy instead of this world’s evil indoctrinations. If we allow our eyes, ears, mind, heart posture, and the temptings in our thoughts to rule in the name of wants we get further and further away from Jesus. We then become someone we do not recognize and neither does Jesus, even if we grace the doors of a church building every Sunday.
The saturation of ignoring, poor life choices, hatred, porn, addiction, endless scrolling, dark webs, rudeness, meanness, murder….. are only distractions of a distorted reality. My reality is Jesus.
Let us remember who are in this life. We must be diligent in our choice to Seek and See Holy opportunities in this life. Your reality is to be focused on Jesus.
God has always given us the choice to believe or not. The world as we know it does not choose God. Yet, we must not miss those opportunities to see and be Jesus while we are alive on earth.
May Charlie live on within each of us. May Erika and the children find the community support to sustain and carry on his legacy. May we never forget God is in control. Jesus saves. And we are to be the light on earth. Keep watch!
