Keep Practicing

Everything in life takes practice in order to create habits; good or bad. The world’s chaos, angry citizens, self sabotage, and hate filled actions make it harder and harder to find God’s peace. It takes commitment to doing the right thing. It takes a deliberate change in attitude. It takes daily practice to live like Jesus taught.

None of us are perfect. We say the wrong things out of weary heartache. We do the quick and easy thing because we are just plain tired. We misrepresent Holy living in road rage rants. Exasperated, we stop trying, give up, and/or remain in a dark place. We stop practicing the lessons, passing the peace, the serving, the self care, the prayers, the reading of Holy Truths, the trust in God, and the list goes on.

Olympic greats don’t get to the podium by allowing failures on the road to their success to stop them. They keep practicing.

Our walk with Jesus is a daily practice, too. Words of Wisdom, Faith in the unseen, Forgiveness of many wrongs, Strength to Endure, and Perseverance in the midst of danger, anger, and confusion will only gain momentum in our lives if we practice them. It is only then that Peace takes over each and every time.

Holy Practicing, many times a day, every day, is a workout your spirit relies upon. Don’t give up and get stuck. Seek Jesus. Learn His Ways, Truths, Attitude, and Servant spirit. Then practice it every chance you get. Peace will come to you. Don’t give up.
