The snow glistens through the forest landing on the snowy ice as the sun rises for another day. The sun captures glimmers of the lay of the land in stark beauty. All is well for some. The homeless shelters are full and some were turned away due to fire codes. As generators chug across the cities, wild and feral animals hunker down in burrows of packed ice, leaves, branches, and, if lucky, in barns.
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
Let us help others where we can and remember, in uncertain times God is still in control. May you rise up to meet Holy and be mindful of your blessings then helpful for those less fortunate.
