Just Be

As I stood in the barn aisle looking over the pasture while listening to the horses munch their breakfast a serene feeling of just being in the moment washed over me. It was a blessing from God. Yes, my eyes teared up in thankfulness and remembering.

I remembered the importance of just being in the moment. No actions, no words, As the silence of the moment engulfed I heard the birds louder, saw the forest alive with wonder, and details of all that surrounded became clearer. It was definitely a God moment. No words, no actions. Just being.

“Be still and know that I am God.”   Psalm 46:10
