The Holy Spirit has the ability to change our heart, soften the hardships of our lives, and mysteriously put us back together, over and over. What we can not humanly control, do, understand, fix, or reconcile the Holy Spirit mysteriously can.
While we may lack the ability to find compassion on our own, God gives us the pathway to intercession. It heals our hearts and leads to forgiveness. This powerful healing includes ourselves, too, and not just others.
If you are struggling with past hurts, offenses, lack of faith, broken heartedness, or anything else that pulls at your heart strings, let God in to take you to a different way of thinking. Holy Spirit, come, might be the only prayer you can utter, but it is all you need.
Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. Romans 8:26
