Do you have a heart that listens? Compassionately listening. Quietly listening. Observing with kindness allows time for understanding. We all have the best advice from our own experiences. To effectively share those experiences we must first quietly assess situations, actions, and conversations in kindness while asking the Holy Spirit when to share, what to say, and how to do it with love, compassion, kindness, and an open heart. Most times others just need to be heard in kindness, not rude lectures. Being right is never a reason to jump ahead and expound upon our great knowledge. Ask God for help.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
Jesus had a listening, compassionate heart. He was quiet, but quick to listen. His direct daily contact with God is how He knew when and what to do and say, even in the market temple. His Holy Spirit lives within you. Seek that wisdom. Pray the scriptures everyday.
