The heart of the matter for today is to be thankful Jesus loved us that much. He loved us enough to die for us. I know no one who would do that for another except for a good mother.
So, what is in your heart this day and everyday? Worry, bills, anxiety, malice, anger, next new car, money??? All are distractions from living a real, authentic life in Christ. Don’t push Jesus out of your heart with fruitless, worldly things.
“So now, beloved ones, stand firm, stable, and enduring. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures.”
1 Corinthians 15:58 TPT
Start a new habit. When worldly thoughts creep in, replace them with something you are thankful for in life. It strengthens your heart posture to get you through the next upheaval.
You can’t take possessions, bills, new shoes, or clothes with you, but what will go is what you have already planted in your heart.
What are you planting today the will be productive with fruit that endures?
