When we look back over the joys, sorrows, and hardships of life, one lesson we learn is that God carries us through it all. Holy does it over and over because he cares and loves us.
That love translates to everything. Even in our unwillingness to listen, failures, turning away from, or not spending time with God, His love still runs after us. Why? Because he wants to save every soul on earth through Jesus. Today is your day to turn around and accept that truth.
Don’t get swept out to the turmoil of the turbulent sea of temptations, anger, bitterness, arrogance, or even grief. Stay close to the calm waves of God who will carry you out of that life and into a new self.
Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze…. He who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43
Let God carry you today. Give it to Holy and patiently wait for the fruition of what only He can do.
