Good Heart

What do you want in life? Slow your pace and give that some serious thought.  The nature of our humanness begs for being seen, being heard, being loved, wanting to win every time. These are the areas the enemy uses to confuse our heart posture.

The wants in life blur the simplest of needs, causing hoarding money, addictions to shopping, collecting extravagant possessions, and feeling  we have the right to do what we want no matter who it hurts. Wants and needs are 2 different things.

Jesus showed us God’s good heart on earth so we could learn to grow closer to Holiness. Our needs are provided every step of our lives by God. It is the wants that cast shadows over what we simply need.

Step away from the wants of material things and supply your spirit with what it needs to live life  on earth. Pray about it. Seek God’s word on every subject. Pursue the Jesus way in all you do, say, think, and react.

A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart. Luke 6:45

Today, chase after God’s own good heart.
