I am always thankful that God’s way prevails over my way. I would venture to say that I do not realize that in the moment, though. It is when I reflect on how things turned out in every season of my life that I truly see how God’s ways, plans, provisions, and protections are so much better than mine.
Those reflections build trust steeped in faith. I visit there often. It is sustaining. I am learning to heed the warnings, see the gifts, and be patient in the waiting. I do not always get it right. Yet, Holy is patient with me.
His Way has taught me to spend this quality time reflecting on the goodness of God rather than a pity party from not getting my way.
Today, reflect, revisit, refresh, and watch God lead you to the meaning of His Way.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9
