God intricately created the world so that there is healing widely available. Revelation 22:3 speaks of the tree of life standing by the river bearing crops of fruit and leaves for healing nations. The deeper meaning of the tree of life is that because of the forgiveness of sin through the blood of Jesus, there will be no evil or sin that covers us. Our future of eternity with God is secure.
Take time to spend moments in God’s healing creation and feel the presence of holiness. It will deepen your faith. Listen for the breath of God lingering in the trees waiting on you.
Remember that the water of life produces health and strength. It lives within you. While we still live in a world controlled by sin, cruelty, evil intentions, and unhealthy mandates, as believers, the day is coming when God prevails. Jesus overcame the world for you.
Take time to know the healing powers within God’s creation. It is then that you will produce the fruits of the Spirit and make this sinful world a better place. Nothing is more important in your life.
For today, as we wait and work for God’s perfect world, find healing within and share it with someone.
Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing. Ezekiel 47:12
