God Strong

Be God strong today and every day instead of meeting each hurt, destructive comment, or habitual rudeness with the same weak response. The strength to be kind in the face of purposeful meanness, compassionate towards ugly words, and understanding of actions that disregard respect grows from God within.

It takes trust, courage, and a closeness with God to establish the pattern of strength within to turn each negative word, gesture, or situation into a truth filled moment with a smile. God will always give us the answers when we stop, breathe, and ask. Those answers may involve words of truth, silence, or simply walking the other way.

We must remember God knows all hearts involved while we are only privy to our own heart of thoughts, feelings, and desires. When we can trust Holy completely with our heart, mind, and soul we will hear in our spirit the ways to react or words to say knowing that He is always in control of the lesson to be learned.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. Psalm 28:7

Today, practice being God Strong. Ask for help to not retaliate, words of benefit not destruction, and actions that speak of holiness not selfishness.
