In the good, the bad, the joyful, and the difficult, we must continually give thanks to God for His indescribable gifts of protection as well as provision. Life never looks like we think it will. There will always be unexpected changes, illnesses, grief, suffering, and uncertainties for we live in a fickle world of self righteousness. As believers we are called to be, think, and act different. Job is the greatest example of giving thanks while surrounded by hardship.
We, too, can learn to give thanks while surrounded by life’s inconsistencies, if we are determined to trust in the Holy Higher Power of God. Jesus has been wherever you are in life; good and bad. Take it to Him in prayer by way of thanksgiving.
He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat. Psalm 147:14
God will always replace the chaff in our lives with His gifts of finest wheat. Trust the process. Have patience in the waiting. Give thanks.
