When we are given a gift from God it is eternal. I learned this when I was in the hospital with acute respiratory distress, sepsis, and 3 types of pneumonia’s. The night I crashed, I aspirated and the ability to swallow along with vocal cord paresis became a problem that resolved by the grace of God. My thought, as I stared at the ceiling at this unbelievable turn events, was that I probably wouldn’t be able to sing again. It broke my heart. But God showed me it was short lived.
Now after months of treatments and speech / vocal therapy I Can still sing. Again, by the grace of God.
Holy revealed to me that the gifts He gives each of us is for a lifetime and everlasting. My singing voice, my speaking voice, literally and written are from God. Never underestimate the power of God within you. Use your gifts for His glory. Holy upholds His promises. Are you upholding yours to Holy?
