Freedom to Serve

Who do you serve in your life? We are free to serve as we see needs in this country. We are free to worship. We are free to be thankful every day for the gift of life. We are free to seek the Holy One in deep gratitude, yet, do we? Do we complain about every little thing while only expecting success? What is your attitude?

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. Matthew 6:24-26

Who is your master? The world, money, addiction, success, or God who is Jesus who paid the ultimate sacrifice for your life. Jesus’ serving on earth extended to healing, miracles, teaching, travailing in prayer, casting out demons, washing the feet of His betrayer, and turning water to wine for a wedding because His earthly Mother asked Him too.

Jesus did it all with mission, purpose, and honor without a second thought. How? He stayed close to God in prayer, conversation, travailing, obedience, responsibility, and by choice!

Life on earth is a humbling experience for everyone and at some point we must decide who we serve; self or God.
