Every day since the storms ravaged the area a short distance north of me I see posts and reels of disasters, grief, missing family, great loss, dazed animals, and cries for help. I also see, amid that pain and suffering, heartfelt grace, merciful angels in human form, and tears of thanksgiving that Jesus heard their cries for help amid the slaughtering winds, floods, and catastrophic loss.
It is truly a living amazing grace when people still are suffering in tents in the cold yet shout out the fount of blessings to Jesus for the world to hear. Would you have that much faith? Would I? Could we get past the suffering?
Pray that these strong faithful people are not abandoned in months to come while we sit in our warm houses of comfort. Let us not forget them. There is much work to be done.
