Without faith it’s impossible not to engage in an earthly warfare of “you owe me”, “I demand an apology”, “my rights entitle me to”, and “I’m not saying sorry first”. As well, let’s not forget those hurtful come backs of “I’m out of here”, “I didn’t sign up for this in this relationship”, “you’re to blame for my actions”, “if only you would…”. This kind of dialogue is the easiest way to buffer the ego, and is the way the enemy wants our response to be each and every time. The enemy loves to keep the pot stirred with selfishness, self righteousness, dissension, oppression, chaos, and confusion. Don’t buy into it.
Fly high above it all and give forgiveness just like you’ve received from Holy. Then move on! It is one of the highest forms of self care Divine freely gives humanity.
“Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31
The true test of strength in your faith is the ability to trust that Divines love for you is enough so you can freely forgive those who don’t care, aren’t sorry, that justify unkind or depressive behavior by blaming others, and who perpetually push your buttons; No strings attached! After all, it is you who will heal from forgiveness the most when you lay down your pride, pick up your strength in faith and forgive, especially those who aren’t sorry for their wrong actions and words. Never walk away without forgiveness.
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
