Fear vs. Focus

Are you afraid in the deep forest of daily life? Do you fear the sounds of the earth, the animals, the wind? Or, do you embrace holy hope as glimmers of light break through the forest shadows allowing you to see things clearer.

Does the crack of a twig, the howl of coyotes, the hoot of an owl send you into hiding? Or, do you stand in the dark forest with head held high and arms open wide focusing on the safety of God’s provision within unknown territory?

The enemy wants to keep us fearful so we stay in a heightened state of busy confusion. The Holy One wants to teach us to focus on wise things, trust, and contemplation of forest sounds filled with silent wonder.

Are you fearful or focused?

Focusing on Faith undermines your Fears.

The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1
