On this day to acknowledge and celebrate Father’s let’s pray for our husbands, partners, families, and father’s. Let’s remember the father’s who have passed.
Men have a huge responsibility. There’s a core responsibility that is different than women/mother’s. Father’s are to provide, protect, pray over and defend their wives and children. They are also responsible for spending time with their families while helping with the responsibilities of the home. Yes, that includes washing dishes, laundry, cleaning up after a sick child, and taking over when the mom is in crisis instead of constantly leaving to play golf. It is a partnership of Godly love and compassion, respect, equality of differences, honor.
Men, you are were the first created, but that does not mean when Eve was created as your help mate that you have superiority over her. This is the core reason women/mother’s are left burned out and in tears. Selfish superiority leads to dysfunction. God knows the health of your home. You have a responsibility to help each other with the love of Christ. Pray for your children, their mother, and your home life.
Hear, my son’s (and daughter’s), your father’s instruction, and forsake not your mother’s teaching, Proverbs 1:8
Father’s spend time with your children. Teach them honor, integrity, honesty, respect, responsibility, and how to treat their mother with kindness, forgiveness, and what it means to be a help mate. It is time for father’s to man up in their families. Spend time with God. Ask Holy how to do what your family needs you to do in Jesus name.
