Eyes on Jesus

The world will do everything to hinder you from doing the right thing, speaking truth, seeing God at work, and seeking holiness. It happens little by little, and before you know it, daily hindrances become the norm in life. Beginning with our phone in hand, the myriad of entanglements we weave take up every available space within.

It is time to change that way of life. The beginning of a new habit, new way, new life can only happen when you get serious about nurturing a closeness with God.

It starts with staying focused on Jesus. Prayers, reading the Word, joining other believers in  community, and developing a personal relationship with Jesus, daily, are important. However, these will wax and wane if not pursued with diligence.

Today, live your life through the eyes of Jesus, all day and all night. Make it a daily habit.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him, he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2-2

Fix your eyes on Jesus.
