Are you joyful, patient, and faithful? When life is good, it is easy. But when sorrows, hard choices, or unexpected hardships that inevitably come, doubt lurks in the shadows, giving the enemy a chance to distract. Doubt creeps in and settles.
Do not be deceived by doubt. I think of the blind man from birth who Jesus healed along His way of teaching. Once he could see, others did not believe it was really him.
The former blind man was questioned. The religious leaders got involved. It became a huge distraction away from the truthful facts. Satan creates chaos to distract from truth.
The truth is that Jesus took dirt from the earth, mixed it with His spit to form mud, and placed it on the man’s eyes. The man was instructed by Jesus to then go and wash in the Pool of Siloam. The blind man could see when he washed the mud from his eyes. The evidence in scripture is clear. It is your go-to when doubt begins to deceive you. John 9:11
Satan is always working to muddy the waters away from the facts. Do not buy into the doubt. Stick to the truth in Jesus.
Today, seek your joy in patient faithfulness.
