Don’t Look Back

Looking back keeps us from moving forward. In the case of Lot’s wife, it was to her detriment. God says don’t look back. She did and turned to a pillar of salt like stone.

The past is gone. Look to the present moment with the excitement of new wonder. Plant your dreams of the future in God’s hands, and you will be guided to the right path. Journey on without the added baggage of the past.

I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13, 14
