Many times we want to rush in and fix it, explain it, correct it, or prove it. Very seldom does that work out successfully. The most success comes in the waiting, the watching, the praying, the seeking of Holy within, and staying quiet long enough to be heard. This silence is the hardest to execute for we always want to be heard, teach, lead, or help. Yet, silence can be deafening so much so that it is only then we are heard. Take a step back and sink in to the reality that all the words and body language are fruitless when others don’t want to hear it, think they are right and you are wrong, know the truth, or listen to reason. Rushing is of this world. Silent Contemplation is freeing the truth for others to truly even see the situation at all. Thing is, if you have a daily personal relationship with Holy Spirit, and you listen for guidance, you will know when to speak and when to stay silent.
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: … a time to keep silence, and a time to speak… Ecclesiastes 3:1, 7
