I would definitely recommend this book to ANYONE who has been affected by addiction. It sheds light on the ups and downs of the journey to recovery through the eyes of a Mother. I cried , I smiled , I prayed all while reading this book. I have lost people to addiction and I still remain a supporter in a lot of other people’s recovery . I think this book will help those understand that tough love is not the only love needed to help your family member in crisis . I work in the recovery field and I will recommend this to a lot of parents who are struggling with the everyday ups and downs, shame, and hurt that addiction causes within the family and community . I personally feel If you’ve been in this battle with your loved one for days, months , years .. and nothing has helped .. what do you have to lose ? You have nothing to lose by reading His way, and learn to deal with addiction with the unconditional LOVE Jesus wants us to give. Again, I highly recommend reading ! I couldn’t put it down !
