Everything went from fine to wrong in short order for Jesus. It happened quickly. No time to prepare. No time to think through, make a plan escape death. The master of the universe always has a reason things in life go the way they do. We have to know God deeply to trust His Way.
When life is falling apart, don’t hear Holy, feel abandoned, or struggle continuously do you still trust God? It feels like a dank, dark tomb of death. Jesus knows.
As evening approached, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who had himself become a disciple of Jesus. Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus’ body, and Pilate ordered that it be given to him. Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut out of the rock. He rolled a big stone in front of the entrance to the tomb and went away. Matthew 27:57-60
In the blink of an eye things can change drastically. God already knows the divine plan. We just need to follow His lead, in His timing, by His order of process.
