What are your priorities this Christmas? In the decorating, the tree, the gifts exchanged remember Jesus. To celebrate in a warm home, with gifts galore and food a plenty thank Jesus. Blessings and sharing abound for the fortunate, but for the homeless, addicts, those alienated from family, hungry children (physically and spiritually), our service men and women in foreign countries protecting America’s freedoms, there is much hardship. Are you serving others as you celebrate? Let us not forget the reason there is a Christmas.
Set the tone this Christmas to make Jesus a priority so that the rest of the years to follow you know Him deeper and deeper. Set your sight on spending more time with Him daily. Seek the miracles of life that occur around us every day. Seek Jesus’ Holy Spirit within in ways you never have before. Ask Him how!
Be mindful of the depths of faith you will grow as you make the effort to understand the Christ child on a deeper level, the God man’ lifetime of teaching, and Jesus our Savior. There is much to learn. Keep seeking.
Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— 1 Peter 2:2
Give Him away as the gift of life in every opportunity you are presented. Christ-mas is the catalyst for the depth of living you are looking for on earth. Seek the miracles, signs, wonders of God and ask for deeper meanings. It is then the scriptures will come alive within you and sharing will become second nature. Try it!
