The care we take of ourselves and others is a reflection of our faith that God is in control no matter the pain, the weariness, the hardships, or the burnout. Somehow during it all the spark of Jesus light never goes out no matter what we are walking amid. The flames may grow tall around you but God will use those flames as a refining tool to help you, to speak life into your journey, and wrap you in Holy threads of spun gold.
I (John the Baptist) baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. Matthew 3:11
Dance in the flames of the refining, seek Holy Spirit within, and live out your faith in the only One who is in control. God knows and Jesus saves. Your faith in that allows you to become a dancing flame of God’s light rather than engulfed by the enemy. Journey on.
