I find animals, nature, oceans, mountains, forests, and lakes connect my spirit with the Divine. It’s like I cross a bridge from the daily confines of life to experience holy and sacred moments. From the unseen woodpecker hammering trees for insects hidden deep in the forest to watching the sunset sitting on the end of a pier as the ocean waves crash against the pilons. These moments are ethereal, scary, and refreshing all wrapped in one emotion. Time stands still and His voice resonates within my very soul. I find God speaks in creation without ever uttering an audible word. There is always a beckoning to understand, to know more, to seek and find hidden meanings. What resonates the Divine in your soul? Whether it’s hang gliding, sailing, riding through the mountains, or laying in the hammock in the back yard make it a point to cross the bridge to listen for the Divine One.
“So as the Holy Spirit (within) says: Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts….. As has just been said: Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” Hebrews 3:7,8,15 (NIV)
